1) Who are we?
Your Neighbors! We are moms, dads, brothers, sisters, engineers, business owners, outdoorsmen, service members, students, and everything in between.
2) What is your group all about?
Government that works for us! We came together 3 years go, disappointed in our representatives.
Our group formed organically with one clear mission: to ensure that the our elected officials work for us! Not developers, or big business owners.
Elected Representatives should work for the residents in their districts.
3) Are you against development?
We support responsible development that does not result in urban sprawl or high-density development in a low-density area and preserving green spaces throughout the city
4) What are you priorities for your 2019 Candidates?
We are supporting a list of candidates that:
are fiscally responsible: no tax increases, balanced budgets, responsible spending
have a history of community service, and dedication to Bowie
will limit further residential development in Bowie
listen to the community! Every vote our candidates make should reflect the wants and needs of the constituents they represent
will regularly hold Town Hall meetings
will preserve and promote Green Spaces in Bowie
Do not take money from developers, land-use lawyers, etc.
